Photography with Princesses

Watch and you'll see..there's no telling how far I'll go. I went home to Charleston recently and had a super fun project in the works!  I use to work for a company that provided fariry tale characters from classic stories at birthday parties! Aka Disney princesses!  I took my two best friends dressed as Moana and Ariel to Sullivans Island beach just outside of Charleston!  It's so fun to do a photoshoot and to play with angles when taking photos. Photographing people and photographing things are completely different. I prefer people always because capturing a moment whether staged or candid is so much more beautiful then waves crashing on the shore. Raw human emotion can be caught in a photo. My friends got to pertray famous story characters together in a fictional meeting. Moana meets Ariel on the beach and they have fun playing around and blowing bubbles!  After taking these pictures I did lots of editing to create the blue sky and blue water. Luck...

My Library

I'll borrow...this one! You'd expect me to love reading and this blog would be alllll about reading considering the name of it! Well, this post will be about reading, but I just liked the idea of Daphnebelle's Library. In this post, I wanted to talk about some of my favorite books and what is in my little library! I am in no way a big reader. I have friends and family who read as much as they drink water. My friend who shall remain nameless has books surrounding her whole room and she has a stack about three feet high climbing slowly up her wall. I wish I could read as much as her! My mother is the same way, but she reads on a kindle. I would be scared to see the size of my mom's library if she read hardbacks. I personally love holding a book and feeling the pages, and seeing how much progress you've made! Seeing a library being created with books you've held in your own two hands is a lot cooler than a little white or black tablet. Don't worry I ...

Disney World Cast Memeber

Creating Magic! Being a Walt Disney World Cast Member is a lot more than just a name tag and a smile. So many people rely on you and magic is constantly expected from you. I started working for Disney in December of 2017! Needless to say, starting working for the mouse in the heat of peak time and right before Christmas was CRAZY! When people say Disney has it's slow months and busy months they aren't kidding! Disney is always filled with people but 30K people are WAY different from 18K in my job! I have had my fair share of the good the bad and the ugly moments, but mostly I have had some of the most amazing memories I will take with me throughout my whole life. When I say that magic is always expected of you, it's true. Disney represents hope and magic which is something a cast member has to keep the integrity of. As a cast member, we are asked an array of questions from "Where's the nearest bathroom?" to "Is Walt Disney's hea...

This is me.

Introducing me. Okay..did I just accidentally reference two Camp rock songs in the entrance to this? Yes, yes I did. Not on purpose of course. Oh well! :) Hello! My name is Daphne! No one calls me Daphnebelle, but you can start if you'd like! I decided to start a blog because I love to write and share things with the world, whether it's decorating, advice, cooking (which I am not great at) or crafting! Crafting is my absolute favorite! Oh and photography! So many hobbies in one little body! That is me! I recently went from firey red-head to blonde bombshell! I am loving it so much! I think redheads have more fun, BUT I've only been blonde a week! I live in Orlando, FL but I am from Charleston, SC the number 1 city in the WORLD! Which is true! Dorthey wasn't kidding when she say's " there's no place like home!" Orlando is a beautiful city that I am trying to explore without getting stuck in a ton of traffic. Which is proba...
