I'll borrow...this one!
You'd expect me to love reading and this blog would be alllll about reading considering the name of it! Well, this post will be about reading, but I just liked the idea of Daphnebelle's Library.
In this post, I wanted to talk about some of my favorite books and what is in my little library! I am in no way a big reader. I have friends and family who read as much as they drink water. My friend who shall remain nameless has books surrounding her whole room and she has a stack about three feet high climbing slowly up her wall. I wish I could read as much as her! My mother is the same way, but she reads on a kindle. I would be scared to see the size of my mom's library if she read hardbacks.
I personally love holding a book and feeling the pages, and seeing how much progress you've made! Seeing a library being created with books you've held in your own two hands is a lot cooler than a little white or black tablet. Don't worry I am not bashing a digital book but seeing a library can start a conversation and let's just say, I love a good conversation starter.
As a child I didn't read much, I just read what I had too and then maybe because I wanted to look smart or wanted to be like Belle. None of those books I quite remember or come to think of it, I don't think I finished them! Then you have the books that you think about daily with stories that influence your thinking and your choices.
My favorite stories aren't in one singular genre. I've never been a genre person, with anything really. I don't watch all the same kind of movies or even frequent the same kind of TV. Which makes my book recommendation's genuine.
Currently, I am reading 'Star Dust' by Neil Gaiman. Now that is a man who knows how to describe something. It's a beautiful story, which I will talk about more once I've finished it. ;)
My favorite book of all time.
'A monster calls' by Patrick Ness

This is a story about a young boy dealing with his mother dying of cancer. He has dreams that feel real and an imagination that keeps him questioning what's real and what's a dream.
I love this story because the young boy has to grow up and also has to learn that everything happens and everything can be okay. It's a strong story with the love of a mother and son that pulls your heartstrings. It's illustrated as well which brings a childlike innocence while you read about something so adult. The story as well was made into a motion picture, if you don't like to read I highly recommend the movie! But if you love both...read the book first!
The only series of books I have read.
'Girl Online' by Zoe Sugg
If you don't know who Zoe Sugg is then you might know her better as Zoella. Zoe is a British youtuber who has written a trio of books about a young girl named Penny who is trying to find her way in school and in life. It's such a cute drama/romance for really anyone. Zoe did a great job writing the story in a way that made you feel like a teen reading a romance novel but also a hard-hitting story on the importance of staying true to yourself. I loved reading her story and learning more about being me and what it's like for other people with anxiety and panic attacks.
The most recent book I've read.
'Love and Other Train Wreaks' by Leah Konen.
This story! OH MY! It's the perfect balance of a cheesy teen romance novel and a crazy stupid adventure. Not going to lie the beginning is a little tricky to get into but the ending was well worth the struggle. The reason I struggled was the story changed perspectives back and forth between the characters Noah and Ammy. The way the story went on it seemed like you'll find out kind of novel, which I enjoy! It was harder for me to dig in deep to the characters because I was always page turning as quickly as I could.
This story reminded me of the possibilities of miracles is impossible places.
Please leave some recommendations in the comments because I love to get really intense in a book! I read the first Harry Potter in a week and loved it!
